October 23, 2024
Taranaki
In Person
2 for $1125 or 25% concession for individual enrolments +GST
Offer Runs October to December 2024 ONLY

Conversational Capacity teaches learners how to engage in constructive dialogue, even in moments of tremendous pressure by helping to develop a learner-focused mindset, recognising when emotions are clouding receptivity, and mastering the skills of candour and curiosity.

Conversational Capacity teaches the following:

  • Awareness: Participants will learn to recognise when fight-or-flight reactions prevent real listening and create discomfort in others. This allows for a more intentional response to challenging conversations.
  • Mindset:  Participants will learn a new mindset and to have positive intentions during the conversation.  It’s not about winning, proving yourself right (or others wrong), or just being safe.  It’s about exploring diverse perspectives and listening to contrasting views, because that is where greatest opportunities for insights and growth are.
  • Skillset:  Learners are taught four simple behaviours that are essential to Conversational Capacity:  two that build genuine candour and two that build curiosity.  Balancing candour and curiosity creates the conversational sweet spot.

Leadership agility helps organisations adapt to change successfully

Offer Runs October to December 2024 ONLY

Help Your People Gain Adaptability and Well-being

Workplace stress is reaching alarming levels: We are experiencing a global burnout epidemic that has been exacerbated during the past several years by our experience during the pandemic. For many people, it has been a huge struggle to keep going amidst all the turmoil and challenges. In fact, in a recent Massey University poll (April 2024) showed that one in two employees, or 57%, fall within the high burnout risk category – this has doubled since December 2023.

Mounting stress takes a toll on personal well-being and team performance. Despite the pressures, leaders can transform this environment into a culture of  resilience and growth.  But leaders need tools to support their teams through times of change and challenge. Creating an environment where team members can
excel without burning out is essential.

Blanchard’s Building Resilience programme teaches the three steps to building individual resilience:

  • Learn science-based tools to Reboot the Brain
  • Develop a Resilience Mindset
  • Cultivate Resilience Practices

With the right mindset and practices, every challenge is an opportunity for growth and success. Building Resilience can result in improvements at three levels:
Individual Resilience:
Resilient individuals learn to utilise their strengths to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Team Resilience:
Resilient teams experience improved employee health and performance.
Organisational Resilience:
Resilient organisations create the systems needed to prevent burnout.
